My oldest son, Brody and his son Dawson Hunter are about to go bowhunting. Dawson did take a shot at a doe that afternoon, but his arrow fell short. He couldn't wait to tell me all about his expiditon!
I was sizing my youngest Grandaughter up for an archery photos session with a proper tree stand. I don't think she was to excited about it.
(I know her mother wasn't). Oh well. "Ha Ha!." Donated by my good friend, (Corky) Gary Herman, from Buchanan Michigan.
WOW!!, what a buck from a local friend right here in my neck of the woods. Terry Frantz shot this nice buck in late October during Michigans archery season. He never knew this buck was even in his vicinity until the evening he made the shot.
When he took the shot at the buck he thought he had missed, but when he checked his arrow he saw blood from end to end. After tracking most of the night, he lost the blood trail. The next morning he went out in search again and found the buck just 20 yards further from where he had stopped the night before. Official weight: 202 lbs. field dressed! His taxidermist told him it should score approximately 140” to 145”. Terry said “after 23 years of archery deer hunting, I finally got a real keeper.”

Another dandy Hoosier Buck - Archery in Vanderburgh County, northern Indiana.
A real Monster out of the state of Maryland. There have been some very nice bucks taken in this state this year (06).
